Password Reset for Passport York is done one of three ways. Note that changing your Passport York password does not change your York email password.
1. If you don’t know your current password and/or username:
- Send a request from your York email address to accounts@yorku.ca with your student number and other specific information.
- The Helpdesk will send you your username and a temporary password which you can then change using Manage My Services.
- Take your YU-card to the Helpdesk counter in the Computing Commons at William Small Centre.
2. If you do know your current password:
- Go to Manage My Services (mms.yorku.ca)
- Log in using your Passport York username and password, but click the check box beside “Click this box before logging in to change your Passport York password”, as shown in the image below.
- Then follow the prompts to change your password.

3. Change your Passport York password and/or look up your Passport York username (requires that you to answer secret questions that you previously set up)
- Reset your Passport York password or look up your username online
- (To look up your username without changing your password, go through the steps as though you are going to change your password. At the end of the process you will be shown your Passport York username.)
