Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) at York combines technology with the learning and teaching process to offer course aids.
How do I get it?
- Course websites provide students the ability to access course information online. Course websites developed by faculty instructors may be either of a generic nature or they may be driven by the popular Learning Management System (LMS) like Moodle or WebCT.
- Personal Response Systems for students are commonly referred to as “Clickers”. Instructors may request its use in the classroom in order for students and instructor to participate in interactive activities. There is a nominal charge for buying new or used Clickers.
- Assignment Submission services uses a product called “Turnitin”, which allows students the the opportunity to be assured that their submitted course material is free of plagiarized content and follows York’s commitment to academic integrity.
